2009-10 Arts Commission Grant Applications Are Now Open
The Los Angeles County Arts Commission is now welcoming applications for the 2009 -10 Organizational Grant Program for Los Angeles County nonprofit arts organizations. All grant requests are for two-year awards. Awards will support activities that build artistic and administrative capacity and enhance community access, taking place between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2011.
Application due dates are as follows: OGP III (revenues for most recently completed fiscal year were more than $1.5 million) is on Wednesday, October 22.
OGP 2.5 (revenues for most recently completed fiscal year were between $500,000 and $1.5 million) is on Wednesday, November 26.
OGP II (revenues for most recently completed fiscal year were between $100,000 and $500,000) is on Wednesday, November 5.
OGP I (revenues for most recently completed fiscal year were under $100,000) is on Wednesday, December 10.
These are NOT postmark deadlines. No applications received after these due dates will be accepted.
All applications must be submitted electronically through WebGrants, a Web-based program accessed by going to http://www.lacacgrants.org/index.jsp. You will also find a summary of guideline changes from last year, the complete set of guidelines, and detailed instructions on filling out the application on this page of our site. How-to workshops on the electronic application process will be offered throughout the fall and also are listed on the Arts Commission’s website. Workshop attendance is mandatory for new and previously declined applicants.
ALL OGP APPLICANTS ARE NOW REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A CULTURAL DATA PROFILE THROUGH THE CALIFORNIA CULTURAL DATA PROJECT. Information regarding training sessions to be held in October is below.
