Martin Head
Martin Head was born in New Haven Connecticut and moved to California at the age of 9 with his mother and siblings. He was recently seen as Philostrate this past summer in Crown City Theater’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Descanso Gardens. Martin also enjoys song writing and singing, directing, and one day hopes to run his own theater company. Martin has directed THE WIZ and at Los Angeles City College he directed THE DIARY OF ADAM AND EVE. In the fall of 2008 Martin was proud to complete LACC’s third year acting conservatory program where he was voted Overall Outstanding Academy Student by the faculty. Martin’s dream has always been to use his talents to create art that will be engaging and insightful. Martin had a ball playing Saint Monica in THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT at the Odyssey Theatre. Martin’s other acting credits include Howie in RABBIT HOLE, Ensemble/understudy for Booker T. Washington in RAGTIME, Sergeant Tower in The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, Mule in National Pastime. Martin played himself in the world premier of the Honored KC/ACTF Finalist WITHIN US. Martin plans to continue his education with the renowned theater arts department at the University of Southern California next fall.
