In recognition of your artistic contribution to the theatre community of Los Angeles in the 2008-2009 season, the Ovation Award Voters have recognized you as an Ovation Award Nominee! Congratulations!

The Ovation Awards are the only peer-judged theatre awards in Los Angeles, making them the most prestigious theatrical honor available to stage artists on the West Coast. As a nominee, we eagerly invite you to participate with the events and publicity that surround the Ovation Awards, including the invitation-only Nominee Reception, and the Ovation Awards Ceremony itself.

Here’s how you can get involved right away:

1. Confirm Your Contact Information with LA Stage Alliance

Email Ovations@LAStageAlliance.com with the following:

Mailing Address
Email Address
Telephone Number
Representation (Agent/Manager) contact information
A 200 word bio
A Headshot or other Photo for use online and possibly at the Ceremony

2. RSVP to the Nominee Reception

Before the awards themselves, LA stage Alliance will host a Nominee Reception. This is an invitation-only event for Ovation Nominees, and will be held at The El Portal Theatre (5269 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601) on Sunday, December 13 from 11 am - 1 pm. At the reception you will be honored by LA Stage Alliance’s staff and board of governors, meet and greet your fellow nominees, receive your Nominee Certificate from the Ovation Review Committee, and gain important information regarding the night of the Ovation Awards Ceremony. We look forward to seeing you!

3. RSVP for Your Complimentary Ticket to the Ovation Awards, and Order Any Additional Tickets.

Ticketing policies are outlined in this packet, and online. To order your tickets, use the Nominee RSVP/Ticketing Form.

(Use the General Ticket Order Form for any friends or family who may wish to attend with you!)

We will hold a complimentary ticket for you and a ticket that you may purchase for a companion until the Nominee Ticketing Deadline. At that time, we will release those tickets - so PLEASE PLACE YOUR ORDER BY MONDAY, JANUARY 4 OR WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU OR YOUR COMPANION A SEAT.

4. Forward the “You Know An Ovation Nominee” Email

Once we have your email address, LA stage Alliance will send you an exciting email that you can forward to your colleagues, friends, and family so they can celebrate your achievement!

5. Answer some questions and be featured on LAStageBlog!

Email us your answers to the following five questions at Ovations@LAStageAlliance.com, and we’ll do a featured post on you and your nomination!
