Jesse Lagos comes from Echo Park, right by downtown LA.  He was trained at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts for four years and continues his study at Azusa Pacific University’s Theater program.  He enjoys both plays and musicals. He enjoys all aspects of theater whether it be performing to directing to writing; he aspires to “do it all.” He has taken part of several productions, directed a few one acts, and, despite being in the very inklings of his mind, is beginning the venture of writing a show: “FML: The Musical.” He is thrilled to be an Ovation Fellow this year and would like to thank the committee and APU’s professors who encouraged him to take part of this awesome opportunity.
