WHAT- The Powerhouse Theatre in association with the critically acclaimed Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble and award-winning playwright Kit Steinkellner have put together a playwriting program to service the remarkably creative high school community in the Los Angeles area.
In this workshop, students will learn how to create stunning stories, dazzling dialogue and unforgettable characters. Within this electrifying atmosphere, students will be taught how to cultivate their own original voices as writers. Each student will write a one-act play that will receive a reading at the Powerhouse Theater in April.
